According to the people who tout the logo, the horizontal lines that spell out the company’s name are also equal signs, meant to represent the technology company’s commitment to equality. To be totally honest, it doesn’t completely make sense why a computer company is super worried about equality, but it definitely makes me wonder where IBM’s slave labor factory is located.
