7. London Symphony Orchestra
The easy, swooping logo for the famed London Symphony Orchestra may well be dismissed as an attempt to add some modernity to a classic(al) institution. Okay, it totally is that, but it’s so much more. Look at the ‘L’ as a conductor’s baton, poised to cue the start of the music. The ’S’ forms a little stick figure arm curving up into a head and finally yielding to an ‘O’ which is the conductor’s other hand. Bravo – this logo designer is a true artist!
