From the outside looking in, La Recoleta Cemetery looks like a pleasant place for the dearly departed. But once you enter inside, the entire graveyard is said to be haunted by various ghosts, including a young girl named Rufina Cambaceres. She was mistakenly pronounced dead and was reportedly buried alive on the plot of land. No one even realized she was still alive until they found her lifeless body trying to escape her tomb. No wonder she’s still haunting this place. We’d be ticked off if we were buried alive, too!
