The Sallie House in Atchison, Kansas was thought to be haunted by the ghost of a little girl who died there during an appendectomy. However when a family moved into the home in the 1990s it became clear that the ghost was a middle aged woman…who violently had it in for the male owner of the house. She reportedly not only moved things around the home but scratched the man to the point of bleeding. She once shoved him so hard that he almost went over the second floor railing.
