5. Ann Starrett Mansion

The Ann Starrett Mansion in Port Townsend, Washington State is haunted not by the former owners of the home, but by their nanny. She is generally well behaved (if general hauntings seem well behaved to you), but she has been known to knock people on the head for saying something offensive. The rest of the time she turns lights off, turns the pages in books, and sometimes knocks photos off the walls. Today the home is a bed and breakfast (with a little “boo” for a bonus).
