4. Manresa Castle

The Manresa Castle in Port Townsend, Washington State, is now a hotel – but you might not want to stay there once you know the backstory. It was a former residence as well as a Jesuit school until strange things started to happen throughout the entire home like lights spontaneously turning on and off. On the third floor in particular there is a woman ghost who seems a bit nosy as she often rifles through the belongings of guests. She has also been heard singing in the bathroom of room 306. If paranormal activity doesn’t bother you, it’s a lovely place to stay.
