12. Ferry Plantation House

The Ferry Plantation House in Virginia Beach, Virginia was the site of a ferry crossing before it ever became a home in 1642. When it was a ferry crossing there was a fatal shipwreck, and supposedly 11 different ghosts now haunt the house. This includes some of the passengers on the ferry, some past owners, and a couple slaves who lived there at points throughout its history. Researchers who have come to check out the paranormal activity have not been let down.
