8. Raised by Goats in the Andes Mountains

Like most of the kids on our list, Daniel was abandoned by his parents and was left to fend for himself in the Andes Mountains. Once he was found, investigators were shocked to see him walking on all fours and unable to communicate. To survive in the wild, he had adopted a diet of fresh berries, roots, and goat’s milk, and he was also able to communicate with a family of goats after a period of time. It wasn’t until he was 12-years-old when a group of hikers finally discovered him in the wild.
