10. He Made a Run for the Jungle and Stayed There

When John Ssebunya’s father killed his mother, he decided to run away from home. He went deep into the jungle at the age of 2 or 3-years-old and came across a group of monkeys in the Ugandan jungle. They were initially wary of him but eventually, they befriended the young boy. For the next eight months to a year, the monkeys helped him search for food and taught him how to climb trees until he was recaptured, reintegrated back into society, and adopted by a loving family.
