12. Let Your Plants Take Care of Themselves

If you like plants but hate lifting a finger for them, then a DIY self-watering planter is what you need. Don’t get turned off by words like “do” and “yourself”; this is easy. Literally all you need to do is fill a water bottle with water, flip it upside down and bury the top in your soil. From there, gravity will take care of the rest (see how easy that is?). You don’t even need a fancy glass bottle like the one pictured; any sturdy water bottle will do the trick.
