9. They’re Verbally Abusive

Here’s a big duh: if your significant other isn’t nice to you, drop them. I don’t mean them socking you in the jaw (in that case, press charges). I mean their general behavior aimed in your direction is a downer. Are they nice? Are they supportive? When you talk, do they listen? You deserve to find someone who’s genuinely interested in your boring crap. If they’re mean to you, lose them.
