11. Project QK HILLTOP

Admittedly, not a whole lot is known about Project QK Hilltop, a CIA experiment in thought control. That said, the details we do know are straight up messed up. In the mid-1950’s, Cornell University psychologist Dr. Harold Wolff was tapped to look into “brainwashing”. According to reports, Wolff responded by asking the CIA to hand over, “all its information regarding ‘threats, coercion, imprisonment, deprivation, humiliation, torture, ‘brainwashing’, ‘black psychiatry’, hypnosis and combination of these, with or without chemical agents.”
