5. Saola

The Saola, also known as the Asian bicorn, was recently discovered in 1992. Since then, the species is already in danger of its population being wiped out. Its restrictive habitat requirements, as well as a number of the species being lost through hunting and the illegal trading of its furs, have dramatically decreased the number of Saolas in the wild.
