Supposedly, the fall of the stock market and the beginning of the Great Depression was rung in with a veritable tidal wave of Wall Street bankers throwing themselves from the tall windows of their opulent offices. As much fun as it is to think of a rainstorm of broken stockbrokers dropping to their just reward, this isn’t actually true. Pretty much no Wall Street big boys offed themselves. Duh, because the people responsible are never actually punished in real life.
