6. On the Iraq War

When he officially set off on the campaign trail, Trump claimed that he was a freaking military genius and that he was probably better informed than most generals. Let’s juxtapose that claim with Trump’s oft stated belief that the Iraq debacle is the fault of both President Obama and George W. Bush. In spite of the fact that history puts the blame squarely on W, and in spite of the fact that during Bush’s presidency, Trump repeatedly said that the only solution in Iraq was the immediate withdrawal of troops from the area. Funnily enough, when Obama made that exact move, suddenly Trump believed that sticking around the area was the only reasonable solution.
