7. Anything Baby Related

A wedding is about the bride and groom, not some future child that may or may not materialize. Talk about putting pressure on the newlywed couple. Even if you know for a fact that the bride is expecting, the wedding is a bad place to give a baby-related gift. At best it is inappropriate. At worst it is downright embarrassing. There will be plenty of time to give that bassinet or stroller later – when you are invited to the baby shower.
