7. Men Are Gentlemen
While there are a few cads in the novels of Jane Austen, by and large, the men are all a good sort and no how to treat a lady with care. Jane’s men escort the women to and fro, fetch them drinks, and come over to meet the family. Jane would faint if she were to pop into one of London’s nightclubs today. It has been said that all women desire a Mr. Darcy, but sadly all men have no idea who that is.
