17. Dzo

Found and used primarily in Mongolia and Tibet, dzo are the mixture between yak and domestic cattle. Larger, stronger, sturdier than either of their parent species, dzo have been used for their high quality meat and milk production for years. At higher altitudes dzo are used as pack animals. Fun fact: while male dzo are usually infertile, female dzomo tend towards fertility.
