4. Sea Lions Are Not Cool With Suicide

One night in September of 2000 a San Francisco native made a very poor decision and jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge hoping to end his life. He claims his first thought after leaving the bridge was regret. Fortunately, as his head miraculously broke the surface of the water, he was aided by a local sea lion, who circled him and kept his head above water until he was able to reach the shore.
