10. Having to Do Homework

Why is it that teachers managed to assign homework with complete disregard for what other teachers were doing? Were they not talking in the teacher’s lounge? Or maybe they were and they just liked to pile it on … either way, homework was the worst. Having to spend all day locked in a drab building only to have to bring assignments home was an insult added to injury. Such a bad trend to set for children, essentially telling them to bring their work home with them every day.
