The Democratic representative from Georgia isn’t the world’s best example of the state’s scientific education. At the very least, he sure doesn’t understand how islands work. When he heard a plan to add more military personnel to Guam, Johnson was concerned. Not because of the escalating military situation, but because he worried that Guam itself would capsize and sink into the ocean.
