Everyone gets bored at work. Even if you’re doing your dream job, there are days when you just have to do something a little risqué to make it to the five o’clock bell. Easily the most popular example of no-no animation is The Lion King’s infamous “sex” in the stars scene. As poor young Simba is contemplating his fate and agonizing over a return to his kingdom, he flops down, dejected, on a flower bed. That’s when a tuft of flowers ascends into the star-filled sky and for the briefest of seconds audiences can just make out … well, you see.
