How am I supposed to enjoy my meal when I’m worried about getting ceramic shards lodged in my gums? This crab mousse is served in a fallen-over flowerpot lying on a plank … because of course it is. It looks like a garden accident, not a meal. Why would someone go to so much trouble to create what looks like a disaster? Is ironic food presentation really necessary?
