1. Truck full of troubles
In Brownsville Texas, officers grew suspicious of a truck that was being exported. It had the tailgate welded shut and a number of screws in odd places. After using special dogs to sniff out contraband they decided to dismantle the truck bed finding a false bottom which hid a number of guns and automatic weapons as well as thousands of round of ammunition.

wrong! A few telltale scratches gave officers the idea that the car may have been dismantled in order to hide something. They found 26 packages stuffed full of $100 dollar bills.
5. Cigarettes in Tree Trunks
During a customs check, officers found 25,000 packs of cigarettes hidden inside 55 tree trunks. The smugglers had hollowed out the trunks, filled them with cigarettes, and then carefully replaced the end caps, hiding the trunks within the 27-ton shipment.
6. Cold-Blooded Smuggler
In Norway, this man was caught trying to smuggle 14 pythons and 10 geckos hidden in socks and boxes that were taped to his body. Customs were suspicious when they found a tarantula in his bag and so decided to search him.

In Mexico, police detained Maria del mar Arjona after a conjugal visit as she struggled to leave the prison with a rather heavy suitcase. Upon opening it the found her convict husband Juan Ramirez Tijerina squashed inside wearing only his underwear.

In 2001 on the US border with Mexico, a 42 man attempted to smuggle himself into the US by disguising himself as a car seat. He removed the foam from an existing seat and installed a frame to get the seat its shape although he failed, he deserves 10 out of 10 for effort.

While their utility is limited due to the small amount of weight they can carry, some people have used drones to smuggle things into prisons, and a large number of prisons have had to install special fencing and signal jammers to put a stop to it

This man was stopped for acting suspiciously in Cayenne airport, In the X-ray they saw he had something strange in his underwear so they searched him, finding over a dozen live hummingbirds in his underpants. Each bird was taped up individually so it couldn’t escape.
